What we do

One firm for the whole back office

Most owners end up with a bookkeeper, a tax practitioner and someone else for the annual admin, none of whom speak to each other. We do all of it.

Books and accounting

Monthly bookkeeping from R390, management accounts and annual financial statements, so your numbers are current instead of reconstructed at year end.

Tax and SARS

Company and provisional tax returns prepared and submitted, VAT handled, and your tax compliance status kept current so it is there when a client asks.

Payroll and employees

Payroll from R120 a month, plus the employer registrations and the Letter of Good Standing that employers get asked for.

Annual filings

The annual return and beneficial ownership declaration prepared and lodged for you each year, so your company stays in good standing.

Protect and qualify

Trademark applications for your name, logo or slogan, and BEE affidavits for enterprises turning over under R10 million.

Setting up

New companies, non-profits and trusts prepared end to end, with a free accounting officer appointment so the admin is covered from the start.

The one that catches people

Every company owes two filings a year, forever

An annual return and a beneficial ownership declaration, due within 30 business days of your registration anniversary. It applies whether or not you traded. Miss them long enough and CIPC begins deregistration, and a deregistered company cannot trade, bank or tender.

We prepare and submit both on your behalf, every year, from R199 a month. You are not reminded to do it. It is simply done.

Monthly plans

Or put the recurring work on a plan

Everything above can be bought once, on a fixed fee. The work that repeats every year is cheaper and safer on a plan.

Books and tax, monthly

Questions

Common questions

More on the full FAQ page.

What exactly does every company have to file?

Two things a year. An annual return to CIPC within 30 business days of your incorporation anniversary, and a beneficial ownership declaration. Since 1 July 2024 CIPC will not accept the annual return until the beneficial ownership declaration is filed.

My company is dormant. Does this still apply?

Yes, and dormant companies are the ones most often deregistered, precisely because nobody is watching. The obligation attaches to the registration, not to whether you trade.

What happens if I have already missed filings?

It is fixable. Deregistration Rescue back-files every outstanding year and, where needed, lodges the reinstatement. Run the free check first so you know what you are dealing with.

How much does it cost to never think about this again?

Compliance Essentials is R1,800 a year, or R199 a month. The CIPC statutory fee is passed through at cost on top, never marked up.

Are you CIPC, or connected to them?

No. We are an independent business services provider. We are not CIPC, SARS, the dtic, the Compensation Fund or the Master of the High Court, and we are not affiliated with any of them.

Do you still register new companies?

Yes. R895, typically 2 to 3 business days once your name is reserved, including a free accounting officer appointment. Start with the free name search.

Find out where your company actually stands

The check is free, takes about 30 seconds, and tells you the truth either way. If you are fine, we will say so.
