What an NPC can and cannot do
Income and property may not be distributed to incorporators, members, directors or officers, except as reasonable compensation for services actually rendered. All assets and income must go towards the objectives set out in the MOI. On dissolution, an NPC is restricted in how it may distribute any residual assets.

What is a non-profit company?

How many people do I need?
A minimum of three incorporators must complete and sign the MOI, and a minimum of three directors must be appointed.
Does the name have to end in NPC?
Yes. The name of a non-profit company ends with NPC.
Can directors be paid?
Only as reasonable compensation for services actually rendered. Profits and property cannot be distributed to the people behind the company the way they can in a profit company.
